Mike Cowan's LRA forecasting model's prognosis for 2014 semiconductor sales forecast estimate came in at $333.111 billion, anticipating 9% growth for the year.
April sales were $25.595 billion. May is expected to be $25.727 billion. YTD sales are 10.7% up on last year.
Cowan forecasts a $160 billion first half and a $172 billion second half.
Quarterly sales are forecast at $$78 billion, $81billion, $87 billion and $85 billion.
