CSB-System International has unveiled new software, CSB linecontrol, which is claimed to provide optimal planning, control and monitoring of production and packing systems.
The new software helps food and drink to ensure high levels of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). It establishes an online link with all equipment on the line to provide real-time data on current capacity and performance.
According to the company, CSB linecontrol can identify potential bottlenecks or other stoppages on the line and pinpoint to the intended machine for faster troubleshooting, thus minimizing unexpected system shutdowns.
It also helps manufacturers to reduce rejects and the incorrect labeling of products.
The software supports multi-shift operations by automating planning and monitoring; consequently, integrating individual machines to ensure the line continually operates at maximum efficiency.
CSB ecocontrol, which is an optional component, can also be specified for information about elements such as energy consumption on the line.
